Not only is Illinois one of the most corrupt states in the country, but we’re also the top 5 “Worst Cities” for bed bugs in America by CBS News.

So, why is that? Why is it that we cannot eliminate this pest?

I’ll tell you why: It’s the lack of education my friend.

You see, many of us don’t know where these pests come from, where they hide and how they spread.

Before World War II, bed bugs were everywhere in the United States. But with stronger pesticides and proper cleanliness, they pretty much vanished in the 40’s and 50’s.

Nowadays with people traveling the globe and bringing back items from other parts of the world, they have reintroduced bed bugs to the United States.

We find them in homes, apartments, offices and public transportation.

Bed bugs do not care what socio-economic status you are. They appear in mansions and homeless shelters.

They can hide anywhere. As a matter of fact, once they engorge themselves with a blood meal (that’s you), they can hide without another feeding for over 6 months.

And their offspring? Wow, a female bed bug can lay up to 12 eggs per day…PER DAY!

As professionals, we always educate our customers.

So I ask you, how do we get the message out to the masses?
